The August meeting featured reporting super-star and author, Chris Liley, Principal Consultant with I.B.I.S. Chris presented a session on SSRS Tips and Tricks, which featured some really good learning points and had a real life demo of building a security report in SSRS.

Next up were the folks over at ImageTag, engaging attendees on the usual complexities of managing paper documents while trying to keep proper traceability in place for these, which led into them demoing their KwikTag solution.

I have to admit, I thought this would be just another sales pitch, however I ended up learning and picking up on a bunch of document management stuff that I don't regularly work with on a daily basis. It is also worth mentioning that ImageTag was the sponsor of today's GPUG Georgia Regional Chapter meeting. They were some users in the room of the product, which also helped me understand how customers are using these types of solutions.
It's also noteworthy to mention that IntellPartners will be hosting the next Chapter meeting in November, second Tueday. Check the GPUG Events site for more information.
